The Faculty of Journalism and Political Science of the University of Warsaw was established in 1975.
It is the biggest institution of its kind not only in Poland, but in the whole Central-Eastern Europe. It is a part of the biggest tertiary educational institution – the University of Warsaw, of which it is one of the biggest faculties, as it educates more than 7000 students. The Faculty is federation in its structure. It consists of Institute of Political Science, Institute of Journalism, Institute of International Relations, Institute of Social Policy and Institute of European Studies.
The didactic offer consists of seven attractive and prestigious fields of studies (national security, journalism, european studies, political science and international relations) which for years have been very popular among candidates. Additionally the Faculty offers a wide variety of postgraduate studies, including PhD studies.
